I stumbled across another set of overgrown railroad tracks. I felt like this one had more depth to offer. There was also a beautifully weathered set of train flatbeds nearby. They had evidence of being used as hang out places for some time. More supporting evidence was several sofas and mattresses nearby that I didn't find quite as charming of a subject matter.
It was one of those perfect fall days; a bit cold and breezy, but so nice in the sun. I took a few minutes to lay down and relax on the train and soak up some rays. I tried to take some self-portraits too. As you can see, successful only in catching personality!
I really really love nice, soft images, like the one of some of the reeds in focus by the tracks. It's almost like it has the least to say, but conveys so much more emotion than other photographs.
