Their Wedding: Tanisha and AJ's wedding at The Bradford Estate was on such a beautiful autumn day! They were surrounded by their fun-loving friends and family who laughed and partied the night away celebrating the joining of these two families. I can't wait to share their day with you, but first, let me share about their love story!
How They Met: They met in October of 2013. Tanisha's sister and AJ's best friend were dating at the time and wanted them to meet, assuring them it wasn't a set up. Having both recently gotten out of relationships, Tanisha and AJ agreed that they weren't looking to jump into anything new at that time. But you can't fight fate as they both fell for each other that night. They started hanging out often and AJ asked Tanisha to be his girlfriend about a month later!
The Proposal: I love how Tanisha shared about this day! "It was the Fourth of July 2017 and we were at a party at AJ’s parent’s house. They had recently moved into that house so AJ was helping them clean that day and helped set up for the party while I was at work. We were all hanging out talking when AJ says: “I was helping my parents clean today and in the old fire pit there was a bunch of broken glass and rocks .. want to see one?” (Obviously not knowing what was happening, I was totally confused at this point thinking why would I want to see a rock?) So he goes into his pocket gets down on one knee and pulls out my dream ring and says “Will you marry me?” Of course I said yes and burst out crying. My hair was in a messy bun, I was in a t-shirt and shorts and I didn’t have a stitch of makeup on. But it was the most perfect day and I wouldn’t change it for anything!" How ADORABLE is that? I'm sure Tanisha will never deny looking at a rock again when asked!
Their Love: AJ loves that Tanisha is so caring and compassionate. He said she will drop whatever she is doing to help someone if they need her. Tanisha loves that AJ puts his family first. She said he has such a big heart and she saw that in him when they first started dating.
Their Marriage: Tanisha said now that she's married to AJ, she is his family and he puts them over everything else. "My favorite part of being married is that we’re now in a whole new and exciting chapter in our lives. I get to experience all of the good, the bad, the ups and downs and everything in between with my best friend by my side forever." I honestly believe that these two are soul mates! I loved watching how blissful they were by each other's side!
